Fly After Dark
A Night Visual Flight Rules (NVFR) Rating allows you to operate an aircraft after dark in visible conditions and makes a very valuable addition to your flying license. The course follows the CASA syllabus, it will introduce you to various approach and landing types, as well as emergency situations. You will learn to conduct basic instrument flights at night, with the use of ground-based navigation aids.
Greater Flexibility
Flying at night is a unique experience for pilots, especially when conducted over a stunning cityscape like Sydney. In addition to this though, the Night Visual Flight Rules (NVFR) Rating allows you greater flexibility in your flight planning, particularly for longer flights that may need to end after the sun has gone down. To be eligible for this course you must hold a Private Pilot Licence (PPL).
